What was left unfinished by Christ? At His death, Jesus said “It is finished” but was it?
Today we see the ongoing efforts of man-made religion to perfect or finish what Christ Jesus plainly said was finished. What about the shed blood of Christ proved to be less than enough to satisfy the law He had fulfilled or the requirements of our heavenly Father? What was left undone at the crucifixion and the resurrection of Christ?
We are embracing the passing of ages, the religious monopolization of the salvation “experience” is being exposed as antichrist in nature and origination.
THE EVENT OF SALVATION: In nearly all gatherings of believers salvation is considered an event that took place, a particular place and time can be recalled and celebrated when someone believes they “got saved.” In reality, no one gets saved, but we are saved. What is required for human salvation? Christ’s death on the cross. When will this happen?
It is a false religious teaching that anyone “gets saved” Christ doesn’t die over and over for each person individually but dies once for all. When Jesus said “it is finished” He didn’t lie and wasn’t mistaken… but was totally correct. The death of Christ accomplished salvation for all, He wouldn’t need to die again.
Herein lies the satanic deception of man-made religion attempting to undo the finished work of Christ, placing itself between child and Father where only Christ can be. This attempted displacement of Christ by religion makes religion antichrist in origin and function. The chosen religion places itself in the mindset of the individual as an advocate… but only Christ is, was, and will ever be the advocate between Father and child. As time passes the restorative outpouring of the Holy Spirit is showing true believers the antichrist nature of religion.
BUT what about the experience? When we have our salvation revealed to us it is a definite emotional experience BUT this is NOT salvation.
The revelation of our Christ accomplished salvation is not being saved but realizing that we have been saved. This might seem as if I am trivializing the point, but I am not.
The basis of all false religion is ignoring or prostituting the finished work of Christ, making its system appear to be a salvation vendor. So, we see the believer raised in an atmosphere of false teaching, religion taking the glory that only belongs to God. The religious hierarchy uses this false teaching to maintain adherence to its doctrines, teachings, and ability to control believers.
When and where did anyone get saved? At the cross and nowhere else. In reality, it is impossible for anyone to be saved anywhere but the cross. Christ said it was finished and it was.
It is imperative that we understand the deception of man-made religion so we can correctly see the present restorative move of the Sovereign God, our precious Father in the latter days.
